Waiting for the Hot Water
Haworth Hodgkinson
A host of little packages
sitting, waiting, ever waiting
as one by one they are drowned,
infused and consumed;
sitting, waiting, ever waiting
for the all too infrequent knock at the door
and asking each other:
Who shall be the honoured choice
of a guest?
